Tina Medland, Animal Clinic at New Lenox ManagerTina, our Hospital Manager, has been employed at Animal Clinic at New Lenox since April 2012. She has extensive management and training experience, with a special interest in computer technology and web development and can often be found updating the hospital's Facebook page. Married for the past 18 years to her high school sweetheart, Tina enjoys spending time with the family consisting of three Golden Retrievers (Dexter, Quincy and Winnie) and her cats (Chloe, Charlie, Lily, and Albert). She also enjoys reading and scrapbooking/paper crafting, in addition to training her dogs for obedience and pet therapy.

Christine Evans, Animal Clinic at New LenoxChristine, one of our client care specialists, has been working at Animal Clinic at New Lenox since 2009. She loves working with pets and their families and has been doing a great job at it for quite some time. As a matter of fact, Christine's first job was working for a local veterinarian/boarding facility as a receptionist/kennel attendant. Her customer service skills are outstanding and she prides herself on gaining some of her experience from the "Happiest Place on Earth"! Yes, that's right; Christine worked for the "Big Mouse" himself, as a cast member at Florida's Walt Disney World. Aside from LOVING all things Disney, Christine also enjoys spending time with her family — her husband; two sons; two dogs, Koda and Sonny; and two cats, Jasmine and Aladdin.

Chris Findley, Animal Clinic at New LenoxChris, one of our senior staff members, has been with Animal Clinic at New Lenox (ACNL) since 1999. Chris can be found primarily behind the front desk, greeting clients and completing a multitude of administrative projects. Her knowledge and experience are invaluable. Chris also assists our doctors as a veterinary technician as needed. When not at ACNL, she can be found at home, a farm complete with dogs (Chopper and Stubby), cats, mini horses, cows, llamas, chickens, ducks, turkeys and a deer... just to name a few! When time allows, Chris enjoys scrapbooking and paper-crafting.

Laura Petrizzi, CCS & Pet Care Attendant Laura works as a client care specialist at Animal Clinic at New Lenox. She interned at ACNL over the summer 2013, and her hard work and dedication earned her a permanent position on our team! At home, Laura enjoys spending time with dogs Bentley (a Shar Pei mix), Addison (a Rottweiler mix) and puppy Gilbert (a Pitt Bull mix), as well as a new kitten adopted from a litter that was brought into our hospital last fall, who she named Boden.

Veterinary Technician Kelly HeumannKelly, one of our technician staff members, has been with Animal Clinic at New Lenox since 2011. She can also be found behind the front desk assisting our receptionists as needed. Kelly is a great asset to the team, as she has the ability to put clients at ease and win over even the most dubious of canine and feline patients! In her spare time, Kelly enjoys riding her horse Roxy and spending time with her "4-legged kids" — dogs, Jo and Sophie, and her cat. She also volunteers as a foster parent for a local animal rescue organization.

Veterinary Technician Lisa LandinghamLisa, another of our veterinary technicians, has been with Animal Clinic at New Lenox since 2008. She began her career as a vet tech in 1998 and her experience includes working in emergency medicine, at spay/neuter clinics and in the specialty veterinary service environment, specifically ophthalmology. She is a huge cat lover and shares her home with two "kitty kids" named Harold and Stitch, in addition to her husband and two human children, one boy and one girl.

When she isn't doing schoolwork or working here, Hannah enjoys classical music and playing the piano, bass guitar, and the euphonium. She also enjoys running and playing with her pets.

Pet Care Attendant Ashley Lavalle with KittenAshley, our pet care attendant, volunteered at Animal Clinic at New Lenox over the summer 2013 to obtain required community service hours for high school. She was such a great volunteer that we extended an offer for a part-time job here at ACNL. She works two evenings a week, helping out with miscellaneous administrative and housekeeping duties. She is a sophomore at Lincolnway West High School, where she is on the pom team and has expressed a desire to become a veterinarian. At home, she has two Lhasa Apsos, Buddy and Beige.

Clinic Cat Macy   Every animal hospital needs a mascot and, since Animal Clinic at New Lenox is proudly a Cat Friendly Practice, we have feline one!

Macy, a female black domestic shorthair cat, came to live at ACNL in October 2012. A stray brought in by a client, she needed some TLC and we were happy to oblige. She can usually be found following "her human mom," Dr. Ubatuba, who she has become VERY fond of... and vice versa!
