Dr. Annie Ubatuba, grew up in the Chicago Suburbs. She attended Northern Illinois University for her undergraduate degree and received her DVM at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. Following graduation, she completed an internship at Hagyard Equine Medical Institute with a focus in sports medicine and then worked as an equine ambulatory practitioner at Merritt and Associates Equine Hospital in Northern Illinois. She has spent the last two years working in small animal and emergency practice at the Animal Care Center of Plainfield.
Dr. Ubatuba enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine including sports medicine, rehabilitation, diagnostic imaging, and surgery. She has a special interest in integrative medicine. She completed the veterinary acupuncture course in 2014 at the Chi Institute in Reddick, FL and most recently became certified in Veterinary Spinal Manipulation Therapy (VSMT) at the Healing Oasis Wellness Center in Sturtevant, WI. Dr. Ubatuba believes in a comprehensive approach to medicine though a combination of eastern and western modalities.
In her free time, she enjoys going to the gym, cooking, and spending time with her family. She has two cats, Wyatt and Carlos and three dogs, Greta, Patsy, and Bam-Bam.
